VPS was engaged by a large pharmaceutical company to develop a synchronising and control system to facilitate uninterrupted transfer of 11kV supplies between a private connection and local DNO network, utilising a bank of mobile generation to maintain supply during the transfer process.

 

The contract included fault level and protection studies, using a DIgSILENT Power Factory model and the design, supply, installation and commissioning of the relays and control panels required for the scheme.
